Overgrips

Overgrip is a thin layer of grip that is put over top of the paddle’s original base grip. Its purpose is to keep the handle surface tacky so that the paddle does not turn in the player’s hand on contact with the ball. It should be changed when it is no longer tacky which is about every 20-25 hours when playing indoors or about every 15-20 hours when playing outdoors.

Overgrip is overgrip. You can use any kind of overgrip you like on a pickleball paddle. The only difference between a tennis overgrip and a pickleball overgrip, for example, is the length of the overgrip. A tennis overgrip is cut long enough for two pickleball paddles. So one tennis overgrip is enough to do two pickleball paddles or to do the same paddle twice.
